Vivid's Hirsch Warns Farrah Abraham to Keep Quiet

LOS ANGELES — Vivid Entertainment chief Steven Hirsch is warning teen mom and porn star Farrah Abraham not to divulge any information about her celebrity sex tape deal with the studio in her upcoming book “Celebrity Sex Tape.”

TMZ reported today that Hirsch sent a letter to Abraham reminding her that she signed a confidentiality agreement about her movie with James Deen and that if she discloses any details the company will seek “injunctive relief” that will hit her in the pocketbook for any future revenues.

In the letter dated April 7 obtained by XBIZ, Vivid states, “It has come to our attention that you have announced the details of a forthcoming romantic trilogy dubbed “Celebrity Sex Tape,” that will be based upon your own experience including working with adult star James Deen. We understand the trilogy will be published by Ellora’s Cave Books.

We are writing to remind you of your continued obligations of confidentiality under our contract dated march 30, 2013 concerning your performance as an adult actress for Vivid.”

Hirsch made it clear that no matter how innocent or countervailing (Abraham has publicly stated she's not a porn star) she may think her tell-all would be, it's no excuse for violating the agreement.

This isn’t Abraham’s first slap on the wrists by Vivid. In February, the newbie porn star was sent a cease-and-desist letter after she told InTouch she was drugged and raped several times while promoting her celeb sex tape.

Despite her insistence that she's not a porn star, Abraham has made pubic appearances in gentlemen's clubs and stars in two Vivid releases, the most recent, “Farrah 2, Backdoor and More” that includes an anal scene.
