LAS VEGAS – The spring edition of the International Lingerie Show has officially kicked off with a broad range of exhibitors.
Several exhibiting manufacturers took to the booths of distributors, including Eldorado, Entrenue, Honey’s Place, Holiday Products and Williams Trading, among others.
Within Eldorado’s booth, Sportsheets Cheri Poe provided attendees with information and demos of the company’s newest releases, including Sex in the Shower, Sex & Mischief and Sportsheets Premium.
“We’ve gotten a huge response and extensive re-orders,” she told XBIZ. “People love the Corset strap-on because it lifts the butt into a cute heart shape; and Sex in the Shower restraints really show people that’s it’s all about imagination.”
Within the Eldorado booth, Synergy Erotic CEO and founder Bob Wolf presented entry to mid-level vibes that appeal to shoppers with affordable prices.
“We’re not contenders in the $100-plus market,” he said, noting that Synergy Erotic offers similar quality as high-end retailers with vibes that fully submersible – including the controller.
“It’s key that retailers show off the full submersibility of these vibes,” Wolf said. “We’re also a women-focused brand with female friendly packaging that allows us to get into any retailer.”
Fleshlight exhibited a new addition to its portfolio – the Smart Strap, a smartphone stand that straps to leg of a Fleshlight user so that he can enjoy his masturbator without missing a minute of his media.
“Our Fleshlight forum is what sparked the idea for this product,” Fleshlight’s Brett Drysdale said. “We saw an expressed interest for something like this and now it will be available in about a week or week and a half.”
IVD and ECN shared an exhibition space with reps from both distributors on hand – IVD presented DVD mix specials and ECN presented items and specials from pleasure products manufacturers. According to the company, its exhibition area was expanded to accommodate more costumers and manufacturers. Among ECN’s newest products lines was the Closet Collection from Impulse Novelties, Bathmate, Cascade, Divine p and Lovehoney.
Adult Drop Shipper exhibited at ILS for the first time. The ecommerce solution introduced attendees to its drop shipping and fulfillment services, including providing direct-to-consumer shipping of items from IVD, ECN, Xgen and Baci Lingerie; and regularly updated data feeds for retailers to use on their existing or stand-alone sites. The company also presented its Adult Drop Shop fully custom, non-affiliate web store solution that can be designed to match any brand or look; as well as its MyFreeSexStore.com white label store solution that’s pre-loaded with 100,000 DVDs and 20,000 pleasure products, novelties and lingerie items. The affiliate program offers 40 percent payout on every sale.
“Showcasing the darker side of porn and sex toys,” Robert Hill Releasing presented various extreme toys – including a dildo based on an anatomically correct horse penis – alongside fetish adult DVDs, male sex enhancement products and Jolt, it’s new room deodorizer.
“We’ve gotten a tremendous response at this show,” Robert Hill Releasing’s William said. “Our booth is on this platform that’s really visible and gives us a bird’s eye view.
Revel Body attended ILS following its participation in the Northwest Women’s Show in Seattle.
“Our booth was inundated with women, many of whom were already familiar with Sonicare products,” Revel Body’s Jackie Du said. “They were able to relate to the sensual, approachable and respectable aesthetic of the brand. It was our first show and we sold 35 pieces. I really think this is the tip of the iceberg for Revel Body.”
