Kelly Shibari Makes Fleshbot’s 'Top 10 Crush Object' List

LOS ANGELES — BBW performer Kelly Shibari announced today that she has made it on sexy pop culture media site Fleshbot’s "Top Ten Crush Object" List for 2013.

The list is dedicated to presenting “the highest honors to the ladies that made” the year’s sexiest moments possible annually since 2005.

Shibari ranked  No. 7 on the List, which also includes adult performers Bonnie Rotten and Asa Akira, as well as mainstream icons Miley Cyrus, Tina Fey, Emily Ratajkowski, and Lizzy Caplan. Fleshbot described Shibarias “Smart, sexy, and with a body that won’t quit, Kelly’s got a whole lot going on.”

“I’m very humbled to have been selected for this year’s Crush Object List,” Shibari said. “I’ve been a fan of Fleshbot since the Gawker days, especially in the way it promotes positive sexuality in both adult entertainment, as well as the mainstream. It’s a true honor to be amongst some amazingly beautiful women, who all inspire sexy confidence for women and lusty thoughts in men, and I thank Fleshbot for this inclusion. It’s a true honor.”

Shibari was a guest editor on Fleshbot and calls herself a proponent of “intelligent hedonism.” She speaks on college campuses on how to intelligently navigate female sexuality, negative media messages about size, and bullying, all while developing self-confidence and inner strength.

“Fleshbot’s Crush Object List features all the ladies who’ve made our year worth writing about,” Fleshbot CEO Lux Alptraum, said. “We’ve been crushing on Kelly for years; after her wonderful stint as a guest editor, we knew she had to be a part of this year’s crush list.
