BURBANK, Calif. — Digital Playground has announced the new online feature "Champagne Showers," directed by Francois Clousot and starring Jessa Rhodes.
Rhodes, a Best New Starlet nominee for the 2014 XBIZ Awards, plays an aspiring singer looking to make her dreams come true in the big city of Los Angeles.
Written and directed by Clousot, the title is available today online.
“The film’s message is clear – never stop believing," Clousot said. "Most people can relate to this film because everyone has a dream, whether it’s to be a lawyer, a porn star, or a singer, like Jessa. The film shows the journey of the struggle, but also the perseverance of believing and the success that comes with it."
"Champagne Showers" follows small-town girl Jessa as she seduces her high school sweetheart, Tyler Nixon one last time before she embarks on a new journey for superstardom. Jessa soon realizes it’s harder than expected, since she’s receiving more casting couch offers than record deals.
Things evolve quickly as she lands a job at a popular bar filled with sexy bartenders who teach her how to get by in LA. Kirsten Price and Layla Sin also share their own stories of unrequited love and secret lesbian affairs. Jessa is further welcomed to her new city by Keiran Lee.
The supporting cast also features Nikita Von James, Breanne Benson, and Alektra Blue who all end up playing a role in Jessa’s pursuit of her dreams. There are seven hardcore sex scenes in all.
Rhodes has also been named an Official Trophy Girl for the 2014 XBIZ Awards.
