Trans Women Film, 'Doing It Again' Set to Debut

EMERYVILLE, Calif. — Handbasket Productions in conjunction with indie distributor TROUBLEfilms have announced the release of the first volume of the trans women erotic documentary series “Doing it Again” on Dec. 17.

“Volume 1: Playful Awakening” follows four pairings of trans women with trans partners, some who've just met and some who've been together for decades.

The Kickstarter-funded project stars Drew Deveaux along with Hayley Fingersmith in the first scene shot at the Center for Sex and Culture in San Francisco.

Mixing in depth interviews and explicit sex scenes, the producers said the movie a holistic portrayal of trans women's sexuality that has not been seen before.

Special care has been taken to create accessibility tools that with subtitles in English, French, Spanish, and German and a descriptive audio track for people who are blind or have limited vision.

A premiere for the movie is set for Dec. 14 in Seattle.
