Vivid Entertainment to Release Farrah Abraham Sex Tape

LOS ANGELES — Vivid Entertainment announced today that it acquired all rights to a sex video featuring Farrah Abraham and adult star James Deen. The video, titled “Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom,” will be available May 6 online and May 14 in stores nationwide.

The news comes three weeks after the tape was leaked to the public sphere, spurring a fervent media buzz.

“Since word of this tape got out, we’ve been overwhelmed with inquiries about whether or not we had acquired it,” Steven Hirsch, founder/co-chairman of Vivid, said.  “I’m happy to confirm that we have purchased it.  We went after this movie as vigorously as any sex tape we’ve ever pursued.  We felt it was definitely worth it, not only because of Farrah’s popularity, but because the footage itself is amazing.”

Abraham received recompense in the high six figures for the sale of her video to Vivid, TMZ reported.

According to Vivid, the 21-year-old former reality star of MTV’s “Teen Mom” never intended for the video to go public; the film’s tagline reads: “The private tape made public.”

The video spans more than 70 minutes of hardcore footage, including anal sex.

“I think many fans will be shocked at how truly explicit it is, including stunning backdoor scenes,” Hirsch said. “Farrah’s looks remind me of a young Kim Kardashian and we all know how her story turned out.”

“Farrah is gorgeous, sexy and absolutely uninhibited," Hirsch added. "She has the kind of independence that our fans find appealing.”

Abraham consulted with several companies seeking to purchase her sex tape before striking a deal with Vivid, a Vivid representative said.

Abraham was shunted into the public eye for her appearance on MTV's TV series, "Teen Mom" after becoming pregnant at 16.

The father of Abraham's child, Derek Underwood, died in a car accident two months before, leading to a dispute with her mother-in-law and increasing her entanglement with the media.
