LUXEMBOURG — Manwin today broke its silence over the ongoing investigation of Fabian Thylmann, its managing partner.

The adult entertainment conglomerate, through corporate communications official Kate Miller, has issued the following statement:

"Manwin’s managing partner is currently the subject of an investigation by the German tax  authorities and accordingly, no conclusion was reached in this matter — as of the date of this release.

"Manwin’s global operations remain unaffected and, as is customary with our company, we will not comment on pending legal matters.

"At this time, we request that the media respects the privacy of Manwin associates, employees, as well as their families. We are grateful for the support we received, and look forward to having this matter resolved. Until then, there will be no further comments."

Thylmann was arrested two weeks ago on a German warrant in Belgium at the Brussels airport, and several properties including his home were searched. German prosecutors have declined to give details of the case against him.

Based in Luxembourg with offices in Burbank, Calif., Montreal, London, Dublin, Hamburg and Nicosia, Manwin operates Playboy Plus in a licensing deal with Beverly Hills, Calif.-based Playboy Enterprises and also owns blue-chip brands such as Digital Playground, Brazzers and Twistys. In addition, Manwin owns Reality Kings, YouPorn, Spankwire, Webcams Tube8, ExtremeTube, KeezMovies, Mofos, ExtremeTube, JuicyBoys and PornHub.
