LOS ANGELES — Adult film star James Deen has landed the cover of this week's San Francisco Bay Guardian, one of the two major alternative weekly newspapers published in San Francisco.

Deen is pictured with the cover headline "Make It Big. From panda porn to Lindsay Lohan: Tweenthrob adult star James Deen redefines crossover."

He is also the subject of the cover story entitled "Dick and a smile," by writer Caitlin Donohue for The Guardian's Aug. 1-7 edition available online and on newsstands now.

Donohue talks about Deen's appeal among women, his blog and his diverse body of work in porn that ranges from buzz-worthy parodies to numerous BDSM-themed performances for Kink.com. She also covers his feature film debut in "The Canyons" that's in production now.
