Exquisite Films Unveils 'Xena XXX' Box Cover
CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Exquisite Films has unveiled the box cover for their upcoming parody of the now defunct, but still popular, syndicated swords-and-sandals series "Xena: Warrior Princess."
"Xena XXX: An Exquisite Films Parody" is written and directed by Jordan Septo and stars Phoenix Marie as the redeemed Destroyer of Nations, a role made famous by Kiwi starlet Lucy Lawless.
"The challenge for this production was to live up to the original, and I think we've done it," Septo said. "Phoenix Marie practically channels the character and brings a sexuality that was only implied in the mainstream TV show."
The spoof is Septo's much anticipated follow-up to the Exquisite chart-topper "Tomb Raider XXX," and costars Lexi Belle as Xena's sexy and trustworthy sidekick Gabrielle and Rocco Reed as the legendary Hercules.
"We couldn't wait for the next parody blockbuster from Jordan and his crew," Exquisite Films owner Jerry E said. "Everybody here at Exquisite Films is gearing up for another great success."
"Xena XXX: An Exquisite Films Parody" is slated for September release. To see the movie's box cover in full, go here.
