LOS ANGELES — Mari Possa, the former receptionist who became a porn star during Showtime’s original reality TV series, "Family Business," has announced her return to performing after a three-year hiatus to pursue her degree in broadcasting.

Possa, who was previously a contract girl for Seymore Butts Home Movies and Adam & Eve Pictures, is coming back as an freelance performer looking to do glamour, solo, fetish and girl/girl work.

Being under contract for the entirety of her career has limited Possa's exposure in adult movies to less than 35 total scenes, yet she has maintained a loyal fan base through her association with her former employers, her numerous Playboy TV appearances and the global exposure she received on the popular cable show.

“I’m really excited to get back to performing," Possa said. “Getting my degree was something I had promised myself I would do but I need a break from all of that thinking! I missed a lot of things about the industry especially the girls and to be honest, the attention. I plan on getting a lot of both!”

Possa is currently featured as the cover girl of the recently released book, "Dirty Talk: Conversations With Porn Stars," in which she is interviewed along with such industry luminaries as Nina Hartley, Asia Carrera, Hyapatia Lee and Jill Kelly, among others.

The bilingual beauty has a number of new, yet-to-be released projects in the works. She will also be appearing at Exxxotica July 13-15 in Chicago.
