FERNDALE, Mich. — Nalpac celebrates Earth Day with Earth-friendly and “green” products during the entire month of April.

Featured brands include Intimate Organics, Tantus, Good Clean Love, leaf, Sliquid, System JO Organic, Dona by JO, Encounter, and ID Frutopia. Each featured brand offers either a line or their entire selection contains either natural or organic ingredients or materials.

Nalpac itself is a green company, with a full recycling program in place in both the offices and warehouse, the company said. In addition, the company has discontinued use of Styrofoam packing peanuts in packaging and uses production overruns for shipping boxes. Nalpac employees participate in a program to recycle returnable cans and bottles and donate the funds to the Humane Society.

“Nalpac realizes that there is a need to be environmentally responsible and embraces the challenge,” Nalpac Owner and CEO Ralph Caplan said. “We feel that by featuring manufacturers who work to be green, we are helping our customers explore the options that their customers are probably looking for.”

Nalpac also has a new blog, Nalpac.wordpress.com, which offers product information and ingredients.
