LOS ANGELES — Bellwether adult novelty manufacturers, California Exotic Novelties, Doc Johnson, Pipedream Products, Nasstoys and Topco Sales, aka the Founders, have signed on as XBIZ Retail 2012 exhibitors and will be showcasing their hottest product releases of the New Year.

XBIZ Retail 2012 is set for Jan. 9-10 at the Burbank Marriott hotel, immediately following the ANME Show on Jan. 7-8.

“California Exotic Novelties is excited to exhibit at the XBIZ Retail Show,” said Susan Colvin, president and CEO of California Exotic Novelties. “Happening right after our traditional ANME Show, it is sure to be convenient for everyone in the industry. We look forward to showing off our rockin’ new collection featuring former Skid Row drummer Phil Varone. We’re also proudly expanding some of our most popular collections like Lia, Tantric, and First Time. There’s also a fun new version of Sue Johanson’s Head Honcho in the works that is sure to please. We can’t wait to unveil all our new items in January!”

CalExotics, which received the 2011 XBIZ Award for Toy Manufacturer of the Year, will be joined by its sister company, JOPEN.

“On the heels of launching the revolutionary Intensity, JOPEN will be introducing four new designs into the Vanity Collection at the upcoming show,” said Al Bloom, director of marketing for JOPEN. “We’re thrilled to display these fascinating new styles at both the ANME Show and the XBIZ Retail portion of the show.”

Topco Sales, whose ANME Show booth is built in-house twice a year for the biannual event, will maintain its creative display through XBIZ Retail 2012.

“Topco is hard at work building our booth for January’s ANME and XBIZ shows,” Topco Sales Chief Executive Officer Scott Tucker said. “With several new lines and line expansions launching during these shows, you can expect that the beautifully styled booth with be fully stocked with exciting new products.”

New York-based Nasstoys said it will respond to customer demand with new products to be unveiled at XBIZ Retail and the ANME Show.

“Nasstoys is excited to start 2012 with this big double show and looks forward to introducing our new January 2012 Nasstoys releases at the ANME and XBIZ shows,” Nasstoys’ Elliot Schwartz said. “Our first New Year’s baby is the Mai li Asian love doll, as well as a new assortment of masturbators like Sweet Honey Lips; an assortment of new kits as requested by our new buyers, such as The Lavender Elite collection; several new Twilite items to round out the series, and new Nassty collection Primal Pleasure Rings, among others. We're looking forward to ringing in the New Year with all our valued customers!”

For ANME and XBIZ Retail, Doc Johnson said it will unveil all-new brands, as well as new additions to its bestsellers.

“Customers, fans, and visitors alike can expect to see exciting and entirely new product lines, sneak peeks of upcoming additions to some of our bestselling lines, and revamped print materials, as well as a fresh catalog supplement filled with delightful new offerings,” said Victoria Bowman-Steinour, Doc Johnson’s director of marketing and public relations. “We are proudly developing the School of Doc into an even more comprehensive set of educational materials for distributors, store employees, and end-consumers. We look forward to seeing many smiling faces in the Doc Johnson booth this year!”

Nick Orlandino, Pipedream’s CEO and Managing Director of ANME, says he is expecting a productive outcome from the tradeshow duo.

“I’m looking forward to another great show,” he said.

While the ANME Show focuses on creating an intimate event for key buyers and manufacturers to meet and showcase the latest in adult toys and novelties, XBIZ Retail caters to “everything adult retail" and is open to everyone in the field, including buyers, store/company owners and operations managers among others.

XBIZ Retail Expo will be held in conjunction with the highly anticipated 10th annual XBIZ Awards, presented by MyFreeCams.com, and the 2012 XBIZ LA digital media conference. The 2012 XBIZ Awards marks the 10th anniversary of the biggest industry awards show.

For a limited time, XBIZ is offering free XBIZ Retail registration to all qualified retail operators and buyers.
