HONG KONG — A 3D porn movie is seducing Chinese tour groups to Hong Kong.

According to reports, the film, “3D Sex and Zen” has prompted six Chinese travel agents to ask producer Stephen Shiu for private screenings and meet and greet sessions with the film’s cast.

The movie that is being billed by its producers as the world's first 3D porn, is scheduled to open in 2011. The movie is based on “The Carnal Prayer Mat,” a classic erotic Chinese tale and stars Yukiko Suo and Saori Hara. Shiu said that in 2007 Chinese tourists accounted for more than half of the box office proceeds for the sexually explicit Ang Lee film, “Lust, Caution.”

"Hong Kong is a much freer society in terms of entertainment and publishing, so this is definitely an attraction for mainland (Chinese) tourists," Hong Kong lawmaker Paul Tse said.

The reports said that more than half of the 30 million visitors to Hong Kong in 2009 came from mainland China since cross-border travel restrictions have been eased in recent years.
