STOCKHOLM, Sweden — The Berns Hotel in Stockholm is now offering its guests complimentary sex toys by Lady Calston.

According to the hotel management, the Berns Hotel wanted to attract and please more guests by expanding the range of items offered in the regular room price, which now includes coffee, tea, water and sex toys.

“There is nothing ugly with sex —that is something that we want to show,” said Berns’ reception manager Andreas L’Estrade said, adding that the hotel’s guests, which he described as chic, fashion-conscious, artsy and music-oriented, have responded positively.

“It was their marketing idea to facilitate the comfort of their guests using sensual items and I believe that they are the first hotel in the world to provide such products free (together with the normal room amenities like coffee and tea),” Calston Industries Owner Larry Gayne told XBIZ. “We consider our products to be very novel and couples-oriented and reciprocally complimentary to such a classy venue as the Berns Hotel.”

Additionally, the hotel’s management said it also takes into account the families that stay at Berns and removes the adult products from rooms occupied by children.

Gayne said that while past attempts to have Calston’s products incorporated into hotel guest rooms have been nixed for being deemed too risqué, he currently in talks to get Calston in additional hotels.
