Brian Randone Murder Trial to Start Late Summer

LOS ANGELES — The murder trial of Brian Randone, who is accused of killing his porn star girlfriend, is expected to start at the end of summer, a Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney said.

Randone stands accused of torturing and murdering his girlfriend, 31-year-old porn star Felicia Tang, inside the couple’s Monrovia apartment on Sept. 11, 2009.

Police believe the homicide was the result of domestic violence and that Randone suffocated Tang, who was his live-in girlfriend.

Tang, whose birth name was Felicia Lee, was born in Singapore, raised in Australia, and became an online-adult top draw for seven years, from 2001 to 2008.

She starred in several Playboy TV shows, “Naked Sports,” “7 Lives Exposed” and “Buckwild,” among others.

Tang also owned FeliciaTang.com, which offered photo galleries and videos, as well as her online diary and custom shoots.

Deputy District Attorney Philip Wojdak said he expects Randone's trial to begin sometime in the middle of August or the beginning of September.

Randone is due back in court July 6 for a pretrial hearing.
