RESEDA, Calif. – Rebel Studios, a new joint production venture between veteran producer and director David Lord and Jim Crawford, owner of Japanese Anime company Adult Source Media was announced today.

Lord recently produced the Adam & Eve feature “The 8th Day." He also has directed numerous titles of his own, including the dark Bree Olson drama, “One Last Ride.”

Recent award nominations and the release of the controversial Tiger Wood's porn parody “Tyler's Wood” prompted mainstream coverage from outlets like the Huffington Post, TMZ, Perez Hilton and E! News, according to the company spokesperson

“Everything just came together at the right time to make this happen,” Lord said. “We now have the right team assembled to assure our releases are of the highest quality, that they receive the attention they deserve. We've worked really hard to create some of the best adult content available anywhere, using the hottest, freshest girls in the business today.

"We believe that the fans will be able to see a distinct difference in the quality and consistency of our releases. We are anticipating a really good year.”

Rebel Studios secured an exclusive distribution deal with Adam & Eve where Lord has had a relationship for the last four years.

“We've been working with David Lord for many years,” said Meredith Christopher, head of production for Adam & Eve. “Distributing Rebel Studios was a no-brainer. Nobody has more experience and talent than David Lord.”

The new company’s initial release, “Natural Knockers,” is set to street by the middle of the month. Busty Katie Koxxx stars in the company's second release, “Dangerous Curves,” which doesn't yet have a release date.
