Johnson joins the company after serving in various capacities at Playboy Enterprises and Zinio’s Undercover Mags division.

Alec Helmy, XBIZ’s president and publisher, said that Johnson’s background and knowledge of both the online and offline sectors of the industry will contribute to all of XBIZ’s media products.

“Bob comes to us with tremendous industry knowledge and experience,” Helmy said. “His journalism background and career experience in publishing, creative direction and content production make him a natural fit for XBIZ.
