Swift Undergoes Double Mastectomy

SANTA MONICA, Calif. — Veteran performer Stephanie Swift, who had been diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year, underwent a double mastectomy at St. John's Health Center Wednesday and is facing additional surgery to remove cancerous lymph nodes.

"Cancer was found in her lymph nodes," Swift's friend director Nica Noelle told XBIZ. "They did tests on the tissue after the surgery and they found it. They thought that it hadn't spread, but it had."

After being discharged from the hospital on Saturday, Swift is resting at home with her family. Plans call for her to undergo chemotherapy after the second surgery.

A onetime contract performer for Wicked Pictures, Swift, 37, has been a performer since 1995.

Swift's friends have established a fund to help her with her medical bills. Checks should be made out to Swift's mother, Heidi Clark, and sent to:
