CHICAGO — Raging Stallion Studios dominated the 2009 Grabby Awards presented over the weekend. Two of their films — "The Drifter" and "To the Last Man 1-2"— tied with four trophies apiece, with the former taking the top award as Best Movie. Studio exclusive Logan McCree walked off with three awards, including Best Actor.

Awards in 32 categories, plus Lifetime Achievement and Wall of Fame honors, were presented Saturday at the Park West venue in Chicago. Directrix Chi Chi LaRue and local drag performer Honey West shared emcee duties. Adult performers Brent Corrigan, Wolf Hudson and Blake Riley shared co-hosting duties.

The Best Movie win by "The Drifter" over its stablemate is considered a surprise as "To the Last Man 1-2" had already earned the XBIZ Award as GLBT Movie of the Year and the GAYVN Award as Best Picture.

In addition to Best Movie and McCree's citation as Best Actor, "The Drifter" was honored for Tony Dimarco's videography and tied for Best Duo Sex Scene, shared by McCree and his real-life boyfriend Vinnie D'Angelo. (The other winner in the latter category was the Zeb Atlas-Adam Killian duo for Falcon Studios' "Best Men 2: The Wedding Party").<

Raging Stallion's "To the Last Man" earned kudos for direction, solo performance (Damien Crosse) and supporting actor (Scott Tanner) as well as Best Threeway Sex Scene, shared by Tanner with McCree and Ricky Sinz.

Brent Corrigan earned Best Bottom honors and his film "Just the Sex 2" — collaboration between his Prodigy Pictures label and Dirty Bird Pictures — won for Best Twink Film.

Additional honors include Best Versatile Performer (Dean Flynn); Best Box Cover and Best Screenplay (both went to "Black Meat, White Heat" for Channel 1 Releasing), Best Ethnic Film (Channel 1's "Black Balled 6: Under the Hood"), Best Fetish Film (Titan Media's "Folsom Prison"), Best Fetish Film—Extreme ("Fisting Ranch Hands" from Red Eagle Films) and Best International Film (Falcon International's "Indecent Proposals").

The Grabby Awards traditionally cite two performers apiece as Best Newcomer and Performer of the Year. The newly crowned newcomers are Hot House exclusive Kyle King and Channel 1 Releasing exclusive Cameron Marshall.

Steve Cruz and Diesel Washington were named Performers of the Year; Cruz additionally picked up a trophy for Best Porn Star Website, while Washington also won a Grabby for Best Porn Star Blog.

Best Web-Based Porn Site is a new Grabby Awards category and its inaugural honoree is the Beverly Hills, Calif.-based CockyBoys.com.

The Maleflixxx.tv People's Choice honor was awarded to "Jock Strap" from Hot House.

The Wall of Fame honorees are performers Spike and Robert Van Damme, producer-director Steve Jerome and Falcon Studios Director of Promotions, Troy Prickett. Steven Scarborough, director and founder of Hot House Entertainment, was awarded Lifetime Achievement honors.
