Allanah Starr Subs for Santa

NEW YORK CITY — Performer Allanah Starr appears on the Christmas-themed cover of today’s edition of the New York Press. She is depicted wearing a cleavage-straining black dress with a red bow tied around her waist, red gloves and a Santa-style beret alongside the headline, “Who’s Been Naughty & Nice in 2008.”

An additional photo accompanying the story shows Starr checking a “naughty and nice” scroll. “I am beyond excited and thrilled to be chosen as the cover model for the ‘New York Press’ even though I’ve taken a small video break,” Starr said.

It’s not her first Press cover. Five years ago, Starr shared the space with Hillary Clinton, the Rev. Al Sharpton and other prominent New Yorkers for a “Best of Manhattan” edition.

Starr won the Best Transsexual Performer award at the 2008 AVN Awards, and told XBIZ she will be in Las Vegas next month pass the crown to her successor.

She was recently featured in the ten-part documentary series “Being T” which explores the lives of 12 male-to-female transsexual women.
