“Everything You Wanted to Know About Gay Porn Stars *but Were Afraid to Ask” is a seven-part series examining the personal lives, backgrounds and interests of a variety of performers.

Sixteen models are interviewed, among them Brad Benton, Caleb Carter, Jason Hawke, Jeremy Jordan, Johnny Hazzard, Nick Piston, Jason Ridge and Bret Wolfe.

A full episode features an interview with Harlow Cuadra, currently awaiting trial for the alleged murder of Cobra Video producer Bryan Kocis.

“I wanted to delve deep to discover exactly what makes them tick. This is their forum and their voice,” said series creator and director John Roecker.

“Part of my process was uncovering and discovering details about these men. I wanted to know what their parents thought, how they got into the industry and what was in their future.”

Roecker added that he found “a group of men who were all incredibly bright, sensitive and inspiring — not the plastic superficial being that is often associated with ‘porn stars.’”

He described the tone of the series as “unapologetic and raw.” Punk music mainstays Tim Armstrong and the group Rancid contributed to the soundtrack.

The six-year-old here! Networks is a subscription-based network available on all major U.S. cable systems that offers a variety of programming designed to appeal to the LGBT community.
