Gram's World Shane Invasion

Gram Ponante
When I first got to Hollywood as the singer for Rage Against the Machine, I spent a lot of time in, around, or hovering slightly above the Sunset Strip. I had never been to the Hustler store, though, and I really enjoyed my brief visit there to photograph the Shane's World College Invasion #6 DVD signing.

The store is well laid-out, brightly lit, and staffed by very friendly people. The signing was at the east end of the store and it wasn't crowded or in any way fraught with the particular fan element that can sometimes make porn and Nascar temporarily unpalatable. I liked, also, that there was a live stripper pole for me to use if I chose.

I "snapped" some "pix" of Brittney Skye, Trina Michaels, and Lexington Steele. They were all very nice. In fact, everything was going eerily well.

I left after about 15 minutes and drove to the next event, not noticing the parking ticket on my windshield until several hours later.

Curse you, San Vicente parking restrictions. Saint my ass.
