I Think You've Made Your Point Now

Gram Ponante
Here at Gram Ponante Towers, we understand that Paul Thomas has led a long and distinguished porn career. But just as we can't imagine a post-Good Times Janet Jackson (especially after she married El Debarge), our fondest Paul Thomas memories are of him denying Our Lord three times in full 70's hipster garb in Jesus Christ Superstar.

JC Superstar director Norman Jewison would later say that he, Jewison, overdubbed Thomas' spoken denial in the Neeleyriffic classic, but that does little to dampen the glorious "Could We Start Again, Please?" tacked-on trio with Ted Neeley, Thomas, and Yvonne Elliman to generate a B-side for "I Don't Know How to Love Him."

That said, Thomas' Masseuse for Vivid, starring Jenna Jameson, has been racking up every award 30 pieces of silver can buy, recently capping a year that saw it winning at AVN and XRCO by bringing home the bacon at the second annual Delta of Venus awards. These awards were held in an Italian town named not only after my first car but also after Jesus' shroud. So I guess it all comes full circle.
