Selling Nudes While You're Camming

Selling Nudes While You're Camming

Nudes will never go out of fashion. That’s a fact. No matter how much the industry changes, what new platforms are launched or what content is trending, users still love a good old-fashioned naked photo of their favorite cam model or content creator.

That’s why, even if you focus mainly on cam shows, you shouldn’t overlook the potential of selling nudes as a complement to your camming income. This is one of the most profitable things you can do — but where and how should you sell your nudes to best increase your income while streaming?

If you want to get fans interested in your photos, give them a taste of what they’re missing.

Remind Users That You Sell Pics

You’re probably already promoting your next webcam shift and newest video, so just add your nude sets into the promotional rotation. One great way to let your fans know that you have hot nudes for purchase is via mass messages. Another is to remind your audience while streaming that they can — and should — go visit your gallery or premium social site for more spicy content.

Whet Your Fans’ Appetites With a Teaser

This is a very reliable strategy. If you want to get fans interested in your photos, give them a taste of what they’re missing. Pique their interest with a little sexy bait! When sending out those mass messages, be sure to attach a photo sample for your followers. The photo can be less explicit in nature or appear blurred to entice them to pay to unlock it. I also recommend uploading photo galleries to your camming site of choice, since many offer that option. That way, streaming traffic naturally trickles down there.

Offer Custom Photo Sets

Offering custom photo sets is a surefire way to boost your income. By charging a per-photo base rate — e.g., $5 per pic for regular nudes — and taking some extras to provide content for your non-cam platforms of choice, you can earn exponentially more from one custom photo session: once when the customer pays for it, and again when you post it on your premium social media feed to support your subscription price. Collect payment in advance and set a minimum number of photos to be purchased. For more complicated costumes or sets, charge $10 per pic. Consider bundling photos together for added value.

Sell Nudes as a Cam Goal During Your Show

This is another unerring way to promote your nudes. During your stream, set the goal “Make a few of my nudes public for a limited time” so that fans tip to reach it. Once the goal is reached, make some of the pay-to-view nudes in the gallery section of your camming profile visible for a day or two. This will entice users to also buy those pics that are locked in your gallery, once the freebies give them a taste of how fire your content is.

Use Nudes to Promote Other Services

Some models sell access to their Snapchat or other sexting/messaging apps they use. You can do the same, plus use your nudes to lure fans there — two birds with one stone. Or if you use a messaging app or sexting platform, use those to send the nudes after getting paid.

No matter your desired strategy, be sure to take advantage of your captive audience during cam shows to monetize your sexy imagery, or cross-promote other platforms. It’s a win-win for everyone.
