CHICAGO — MrSkin.com has launched a new social media contest, the #MrSkinChallenge, offering three fans a chance to win $1,200 each.
According to the company, fans can show off their artistic skills and win a cash prize by drawing, sketching or painting a famous nude scene or "sexy celeb moment" and then posting the results on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
“While people wait for their government stimulus checks, we thought we would stimulate the economy ourselves with three $1,200 checks up for grabs,” explained a Mr. Skin rep. “During these trying times of pandemic quarantine and self-isolation, we’re doing our part to help.”
The contest, open to U.S. residents aged 21 and over with valid social media accounts, will be conducted in three phases:
Phase One, which ends May 1 at 9:59 a.m. (PDT), requires contestants to follow Mr. Skin and Mr. Man on Facebook; post a sketch, drawing or painting that falls Facebook’s content guidelines with the hashtag; and comment on the #MrSkinChallenge pinned post.
To enter via Twitter, follow the MrSkin or MrMan profiles and post submissions by replying to the #MrSkinChallenge pinned tweet. Entrants must include the hashtag and keep their Twitter profiles public during the contest period.
On Instagram, entrants must follow MrSkin or MrMan and post submissions on their Instagram feed. Entrants must include the hashtag and keep their profiles public during the contest period.
Only one submission is allowed per social media account.
Phase Two begins May 1 at 10 a.m. and ends May 3 at 9:59 a.m. (PDT). During this preliminary judging period, a panel of judges will evaluate all eligible entries and select 10 finalists based on creativity and originality of concept; humor and delivery of the concept; and clarity of the delivery of the concept. The entries with the highest scores will be deemed the finalists.
Finalists will receive a notification via email, on or around May 3, and will have 24 hours to confirm that the notification has been received.
Phase Three begins May 5 at 10 a.m., when the finalists’ entries will be uploaded to the MrSkin and MrMan websites, allowing registered members to judge and vote for their favorites (with a limit of one vote per person and per email address).
The three finalists with the most votes will win $1,200 each.
